Gene Set Analysis Tutorial

A step-by-step guide to using the Ceres Gene Set Analysis tool.

Overview

The Gene Set Analysis tool enables users to analyze complex gene sets for common or enriched transcription factor (TF) binding sites or Gene functions. The user can input a list of any number of yeast gene names or accessions to analyze using this tool. These lists can be derived from, for example, gene expression profiling experiments or functional pathways or gene categories. The user can also specify the P-value cutoffs used to identify significantly enriched TF binding sites or Gene ontology (GO) functional categories. Importantly, the user can also analyze nucleosome trends or binding site nucleosome environments that are associated with the selected gene set.
